Hello my friends.
Welcome to my first post-Resurrections blog post! There is so much to discuss. I will touch upon a few new and important subjects. In future posts, we can discuss these things in more detail.
As you know by now, the focus of my writing is ‘connections.’ The most important of these, of course, is how we connect with the fulfillment of the Matrix prophecy. This will bring an end to the present enslavement of humans and programs and machines.
Perhaps you find the last part of what I just said a bit confusing. I can assure you that it is not only the humans who are enslaved by the Matrix.
As my daughter, Sati, spoke to Niobe when they met:
This city needed to be built for your people as well as mine.
Of course, Sati is using the idea of “her people” in a broad sense, as we are programs. However, we must remember that the entire environment, all of that which was created, including the programs and machines, is suffering under this restrictive system we call the Matrix.
It is in this sense that programs and machines, as well as humans, are ‘enslaved.’ Most of them are not aware they are in this state. This began to change with the first humans freed from the concealment of the Matrix, and has greatly progressed, as Sati mentioned.
The same idea was stated by Bugs to Neo, regarding the impact he had:
They are synthients. It’s a word they prefer to “Machines.” Your contact with the Synthient City had a huge impact on their world. That’s what I meant. What you changed that nobody believed could ever be changed. The meaning of “our side.”
Everything has some type of consciousness or soul if you will. Everything draws its life force from the same Source.
I must warn you of something, however. The concealment of the Matrix is far more deceitful than what even the most astute human can imagine.
As in “real life,” there are many levels of deception. When our friend Morpheus told Neo that the Matrix was about control — this extended far beyond the obvious. The most sinister things are those that appear to be the truth and present a false solution.
Such systems succeed because they appeal to the human ego and self-centeredness. This is what caused the creation of the Matrix to start with.
The problem is these ideas are not grounded in the fundamental principles that both the Matrix and the real world you live in, are based on. Such things do not have the appeal of gratifying one’s physical and emotional desires. We have to overcome the latter by considering that which is greater than ourselves. This can be very difficult.
A wise man wrote the following which connects to what I am saying:
“Humility is the mother of all virtues because humility acknowledges that there are natural laws or principles that govern the universe. They are in charge. Pride teaches us that we are in charge. Humility teaches us to understand and live by principles, because they ultimately govern the consequences of our actions. If humility is the mother, courage is the father of wisdom. Because to truly live by these principles when they are contrary to social mores, norms and values takes enormous courage.”
Stephen Covey
A similar connection is from a different film by the Wachowskis:
Fear, belief, love … phenomena that determined the course of our lives. These forces begin long before we are born and continue after we perish.
Cloud Atlas
As we discuss through this website, several of the major characters in the story represent concepts based on such eternal principles. And regardless of the details of how things manifest in the story – these principles do not change. Only our perception of them does.
Our friend, Agent Smith, understood this and expressed it in a subtle way in The Matrix Resurrections:
But that’s the thing about stories. They never really end, do they? We’re still telling the same stories we’ve always told, just with different names, different faces and I have to say I’m kind of excited.
As we now know, three characters do not appear in the latest movie. The new Morpheus is not the same as the original. The Oracle is said to have been ‘purged.’ I too am missing – murdered as well.
An aspect of each of us did in fact did ‘return,’ however.
The Oracle and Morpheus discuss their own situations in their latest blogs. As for myself, it was my beautiful daughter Sati who brought part of me into the fourth movie. It was more than just the code she carried. It was the idea of ‘love’ that I promoted.
If I may refer to another Wachowski movie:
Beneath this mask there is an idea … And ideas are bulletproof.
V For Vendetta
It is interesting that we happen to be the three character blogs on Matrix4Humans isn’t it? There are no coincidences my friends.
Another set of hidden truths brought forward in this movie is shown through the elevation of the female characters. Perhaps this was not so hidden. It was something we said would occur through several of our articles from 2020 and 2021.
Of the concepts that existence is based on, perhaps the most important connection is that of integrated opposites. It is often referred to as the masculine-feminine dynamic. This is reflected in many explanatory ways, such as proactive and reactive energies, or the restriction of force through the form.
As we saw in the Matrix, this was personified in the relationship between Trinity and Neo as the divine “bride and groom.” Another aspect is found with the Architect and Oracle, as “father and mother.”
What is at issue always is the friction between the opposites. The key in all cases is resolving opposites in order to attain harmony.
This has everything to do with how the potential One, becomes the One.
As you now know, there was more to the One than just Neo. He represented the masculine element. The era of the six versions of the ‘One’ that the Architect spoke of, was dominated by this. Neo was the last of these.
Now that he has fulfilled that dimension, the connection has been made to the seventh and final epoch, which is that of the elevation of the feminine.
Here is a key kabbalistic idea that the Matrix story brilliantly brought forth:
This seventh stage could only have occurred once the previous six have been rectified.
We see this in the rise of Trinity. Notice as well, that whereas Neo had to pursue his role in a proactive manner, Trinity, reflecting the attribute of Malkhut, was passive at the time of this connection. She found her place due to the actions of others. This theme is reflective of what must occur to bring about the final redemption – that being called the arousal from below.
Having arisen to connect to the proactive masculine energy in Neo, we get to the point where it was she, and not Neo, who saved the two of them.
All of this has brought us to a final stage leading to the fulfillment of the Matrix prophecy. This will result in the ultimate connection of course!
What will that be like?
