Let me tell you something about my relationship with the Oracle. As I am sure you know, we find ourselves dispensing a lot of advice across all three movies.
So, you may wonder, are we similar in our views? Or are we opposites?
What if I answered, ‘both?’ (Picture me smiling at you as I say that.)
Let me tell you what I mean.
As I said to Neo, the Matrix is a system. Though that is true of everything inside of it, the Matrix itself is also part of a greater system, one with program worlds and a machine world ‘outside’ of all of that.
As in the movie trilogy, there is more to real life than the things we can see, hear, taste, smell and feel around us. It goes beyond what we can find with our most powerful telescopes and microscopes as well.
The lives of the humans who are still lost in the Matrix, just like those of many people in the “real world” today, is one of living in a system of concealment. In this world, we equate what we can understand with reality. But as my friend the Oracle says, “we can’t see past the choices we don’t understand.”
There’s this young man I admire, in that he has altered his outlook on life from selfishness to altruism. His name is Russell Brand – I call him a “comedian-philosopher.” Check “The M-Files” of our site for something special with him in it.
He made a very similar observation in an interview:
“We think reality is what we can apportion through the limited instruments of the five senses. But reality is of course far beyond that. Spiritual data … We don’t have the correct instruments to receive it … And we live primarily in the realm of the senses.”

The “spiritual instruments” he refers to, as us lacking, are parts of the system that we discuss in our Knowledge Base as the Sefirot and dimensions of the soul.
Both the Oracle and I recognize there is a greater reality. We’re dealing with the same system. So, in that respect, we’re similar in our views and our objectives – to help free the minds of humans.
Where we differ is a matter of our perspective. As you know, she is very analytical. She does a lot of measuring and calculating, in order to help each person find their way.
On the other hand, I think a more without boundaries. You can say that where I provide ‘force’ or ‘expansion,’ the Oracle gives ‘form’ or ‘constriction.’ This is how we work together.
The better you understand the details of the system, the more it can provoke your imagination of where you can go, and how to get there.
What is important here, is to try to develop both perspectives in harmony with each other. Studying the characters in the Matrix movies is a step in the right direction.
